I have a student loan that just went into default. I was just notified by a collection company called Windham Professionals, to enter in a program that reduces and "totally erases" debt over time. Is this conceivable or just a hoax? Will it be beneficial to me to participate? Has anyone ever participated or even heard of Windham Professionals?

I was planning to attend the University of Phoenix (online) but i was needing to know if i would be able to get a student loan out to get started. So if anyone know if i can or any places that will offer a loan please comment!
