I’ve become a co-signer for 000 student loan for my son, who’s not a US citizen or permanent resident yet.
I have a perfect credit history and mortgage free properties. I’m planning to sell them off and move to California, buy property there. And I will need a big credit line.
Is being a co-signer decreases the amount I can borrow in the future? Thank you.

How do I get credit for student loan payments?

My grandfather co-signed a private student loan for me. Now that I am done with school, I am the one paying off the loan but since my grandfather co-signed it shows up on his credit report and not mine. Is there anyway for me to get this added to my credit history? Or is there something else I can do for the future, if necessary, to show that I have actually been making the payments and not my grandfather. Thanks!

I am an undergrad student thinking of continuing my education. I have separated from my husband and do not have a credit history at all…i also do not have anyone who could cosign for my loan..Is it even possible to get one?

I completed an application already and am told it takes 30-45 days to hear back. As I’m waiting, I’m getting anxious as to whether or not I will be approved b/c I def cant afford the payments on the loans now. They are all federal stafford loans and in grace period. Is credit history a factor for approval? My credit isnt that good either. Thanks!

What's the best student loan for my situation?

I am currently a full time student. I already have a loan out to help cover Tuition costs, but I would like to take one out to get a new computer.

I’ve had steady employment for 2 years and I have a credit history of about 7 months, all of it positive.

Any suggestions/hints & tips will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
I have a Chemical Bank account.
