I’m currently a college freshman, 22 yrs old and living with my parents. I want to get a federal student loan or other loans, so I can move out to focus on my studying to help to prevent crime and other things relate to live peacefully in this world.

When I move out and live by myself, will that make me an independent student?

I filled out an online federal student loan consolidation application, and decided against going that route. I filled out the application and promissory note on Friday. Will the DOE allow me to withdraw the application on Monday?
