Are you able to make your payments? I am just curious what everyone else is doing. So far, I have about ,000.00 in student loan debt for 4 years of school (I have a bachelors in psychology now). I am going on to graduate school and student loans are going to have to cover all those costs too, including me getting a used car for a few grand. Is everyone else spending all this student loan money too?

I heatd from someone that student loan consolidation is filing some type od bankrupcy and that if I have all of my loans from the same lender then they are already going to be just one payment. Is this true? I do have a substancial amount of student loan debt and am about to graduate so is it best to consolidate or to leave it alone since I have always borrowed from the same lender? i would really appreciate your help. Thanks in advance!

What is the best type of attorney to contact about student loan debt? Bankruptcy lawyers seem to cringe/avoid this because student loans are currently exempt from bankruptcy.
Is there any in the US that take this stuff serious and can help broke former students?
I mean there has to be some attorneys that now have experience in these matters since the economy is now becoming flooded with unemployed new attorneys.

My husband (to be) and I have a large amount of student loan debt. Would it be better to pay this down or off quickly while dumping money into rent – or to invest in a home and pay less money on our student loans (home will cost more so we’ll have less money to pay towards our loans).
There are a lot of positives and negatives to both, what is your opinion on the matter and why. Thanks.
