I’m trying to move downtown closer to my college, and if I get a cheap apartment can I use a student loan to pay for just the rent? And how would I get the loan?

I am a freshman and I am trying to find a legit student loan to pay off my school bills. Can anyone help me?

I’m a sixth form student who’s looking into colleges to join in 2010.
It looks as if I’ll need to take out a £30,000 student loan to cover courses and accommodation if I live on campus.
