What is the best university that I can get into?
I have a 3.8 GPA, did a varsity sport throughout high school, am involved with four clubs (two of them are national honor societies). I also am a educator for the Red Cross and do ballet. I’ve worked as an EMT and a lifeguard. I have also started my own non-profit organization for education.
I have no preference about the location of the university.

That’s a pretty good GPA. I wouldn’t expect too many top tier schools to take to much interest though, like Harvard, Yale, Stanford… What were your test scores? Colleges typically place the most emphasis on test scores, GPA, and sometimes class rank. Extracurricular strengthen your profile and are used more often than not as a decision factor for similar students.
You can get into almost all of the State schools in the country, but I haven’t seen your test scores so I can’t be sure. However, GPA is usually reflected in the test scores. There are also several good private schools that you can get into.
As far as best I would bet some of the decent University of California Schools (UCSD, UCI..) would take you, those schools are fantastic.
It’s easier for you to answer that question. Look at this sight and you can narrow down college choices in almost every method possible (by grades, test scores, location, weather, parties..)
